Jon spent 31 years at McKinsey & Co in a variety of roles including, former founding Managing Partner, Africa Office, where he devised strategies for many of Africa’s top companies; head, Americas Consumer Practice; co-Head, America’s Merger Management practice,and leader, portfolio of start-up ventures. Jon also led the company’s client service to several global consumer goods companies, includingP&G, Coca-Cola Company,and SABMiller.
Post-retirement, Jon has been an active VC and PE investor in the consumer sector in the US and Africa. Currently,Jon sits on the advisory boards of Big Life USA, the African Parks Foundation, and The Yale Center for Customer Insights.
