


Kojo Mills
Founder & Managing PartnerKojo Mills is Founder and Managing Partner of Vibranium Capital Group.
Kojo has been the founder of multiple investment companies, generating over $1 billion in investment returns over 25 years in Africa. He has raised $500 million in debt and equity capital for transactions and returned capital (over 20% IRRs) to institutional and private investor groups. Kojo was also a co-founder of Shanduka Group alongside the current South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa. At Shanduka, Kojo was responsible for leading investments in over 30 companies across a number of industries, including packaging, financial services, insurance, a multi-unit McDonald’s system, and a Coca-Cola bottler, among others.
Kojo began his career on Wall Street, working for Salomon Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in corporate finance, advising clients on raising capital, M&A, and private equity transactions.
Kojo is currently Chairman of Ashburn Consulting LLC, a Washington, DC-based network engineering, cybersecurity, and data center/cloud solutions provider to government and educational clients. He is also Lead Independent Director of Stanbic Investment Management Services, a $1B Ghanaian asset management company. Kojo also serves on the investment committee of VestedWorld, a US-based venture capital firm investing in Africa. Previously, Kojo served on the Board of Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd.
Kojo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Georgetown University, where he served on the Board of Regents.
