Kojo Mills

Kojo Mills

Kojo Mills is Founder and Managing Partner of Vibranium Capital Group.

Kojo has been the founder of multiple investment companies, generating over $1 billion in investment returns over 25 years in Africa. He has raised $500 million in debt and equity capital for transactions and returned capital (over 20% IRRs) to institutional and private investor groups. Kojo was also a co-founder of Shanduka Group alongside the current South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa. At Shanduka, Kojo was responsible for leading investments in over 30 companies across a number of industries, including packaging, financial services, insurance, a multi-unit McDonald’s system, and a Coca-Cola bottler, among others.

Kojo began his career on Wall Street, working for Salomon Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in corporate finance, advising clients on raising capital, M&A, and private equity transactions.

Kojo is currently Chairman of Ashburn Consulting LLC, a Washington, DC-based network engineering, cybersecurity, and data center/cloud solutions provider to government and educational clients. He is also Lead Independent Director of Stanbic Investment Management Services, a $1B Ghanaian asset management company. Kojo also serves on the investment committee of VestedWorld, a US-based venture capital firm investing in Africa. Previously, Kojo served on the Board of Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd.

Kojo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Georgetown University, where he served on the Board of Regents.

J. Eric Wright

J. Eric Wright

Eric Wright is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Vibranium Capital Group.

Eric has extensive experience as an investor, banker, and entrepreneur in the U.S., Africa, and the Middle East.  He previously worked for Citigroup and was one of the founding executives of Citigroup South Africa, serving as the head of private equity responsibility for all investment activities, and sat on the bank’s executive, investment, and credit committees.   He also co-founded Africa Venture Partners, primarily investing in the telecommunications infrastructure and services industry.

Eric also co-founded Accelon, a satellite broadband company in West Africa, providing data connectivity and other managed services to B2B enterprise customers in healthcare, financial services, governments, and other industries. He also co-founded TowerShare, a wireless tower company in the Middle East and South Asia, building and leasing wireless towers, and providing maintenance and services to cellular network operators. He is also a co-founder of Gold Coast Securities, an investment bank in Ghana.

He also worked for Security Pacific Merchant Bank in corporate finance and in mergers & acquisitions advising Fortune 500 companies; PwC, providing cross-border M&A advice and due diligence services to acquirers; and Union Bank, financing deals for U.S. middle-market companies.  Over the years, Eric has served on a number of private equity investment committees.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Southern California and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Chairman of Africa Tikkun USA Foundation and serves on the board of the Education Development Center in Waltham, Massachusetts.

 

William Egbe

William Egbe

William Egbe is a Managing Partner at Vibranium Capital Group.

Bill has more than 20 years of general management and P&L experience, leading operations for multinational companies on four continents in telecoms, oil & gas, healthcare, electronics, and consumer goods industries. Most recently, he spent over 12 years in executive roles within the Coca-Cola Company, including as President of Coca-Cola’s business in Sub-Saharan Africa, with $2 billion in revenue and over 60,000 employees, and as head of strategy and M&A for 90 countries. Bill was also responsible for introducing Coke’s Vitaminwater in a new geography and developing it into one of the top 10 markets globally. At Coke, Bill also led the turnaround of a struggling can production business, implementing production efficiency improvements, product innovation, portfolio expansion, and supply chain rationalization.

Prior to Coca-Cola, Bill worked in engineering, finance, marketing, and general management roles across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East for AT&T, British Petroleum, and the Eastman Kodak Company. This included serving as Managing Director for Kodak and leading the roll-up of a $600 million dental business spanning 38 countries, integrating pricing strategies, customer service centers, manufacturing hubs, supply chains, logistics, technical support, R&D, sales, marketing, and finance functions. He was also responsible for leading the turnaround of Kodak’s loss-making Office Imaging (copiers, printers, etc.) manufacturing operations in Germany through productivity improvements in manufacturing, failure reduction in product engineering, variability reduction in repairs and remanufacturing, and renegotiation of key union contracts.

Bill is a non-executive director and board member at several investment holding companies, including Tana Africa Capital (Mauritius) and IBL Group Ltd (listed in Mauritius). He also serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Jacobs Foundation (Zurich, Switzerland) and the Essential Med Foundation (Lausanne, Switzerland), and on the Harvard Business School Advisory Board for Africa.

Bill holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, both from Howard University.

Eric Wallace

Eric Wallace

Eric has extensive experience as a CEO, running and optimizing businesses across multiple industries, and brings deep M&A expertise as a buyer, seller, and integrator. He served as President and CEO of EnviroSolutions (ESI), a private equity–sponsored, vertically integrated waste management company. He led the restructuring and integration of 18 acquired companies and oversaw new investments to create the 17th-largest waste management company in the U.S., operating across 12 locations in five states.

Eric also held multiple senior roles within GE’s Consumer and Industrial Systems, a $14 billion division, where he managed two major P&Ls. He led GE Appliances’ Consumer Home Services business, a $500 million after-sales operation with 2,500 employees, and also ran GE Fanuc Automation’s aftermarket business, which included sales, service, and support for a $460 million factory automation hardware and software portfolio.

In other roles, Eric reported directly to the CEO of GE Consumer and Industrial Systems and had global responsibility for business development and acquisitions across Europe, Asia, South America, and the U.S. He also led a global team of 560 Six Sigma Black Belt experts focused on driving quality improvement, digital transformation, and cash flow optimization in those same regions.

Prior to GE, Eric was a Principal at A.T. Kearney, advising Fortune 100 companies on operations improvement, cost reduction, organizational effectiveness, planning, strategy, and process reengineering across multiple industries.

Eric holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He also holds a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy, where he was a two-time All-Conference football player and selected for the Hula Bowl All-Star game. Eric also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps, rising to the rank of Captain.

Jalen A. Gilmore

Jalen A. Gilmore

Before Vibranium, Jalen worked at Estancia Capital Partners, where he co-led the execution of two deals and participated in several transaction exits and M&A opportunity reviews. He also supported strategic initiatives for portfolio companies.

Previously, Jalen served as a Research Analyst at Causeway Capital and a VC Fellow at Pariti.io. He also held positions at AIG CLO Asset Management, where he helped integrate Covenant Credit Partners into AIG’s Global Asset Management Holdings Corporation (CLO Group sold to Blackstone in Q1 ’23), and at US Bank Corporate Trust, where he managed reporting for asset managers.

Jalen received Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He is also career mentor for Sponsor for Educational Opportunities (SEO).

Troye Bullock

Troye Bullock

Troye most recently served as an investment banker at UBS (formerly Credit Suisse), where he worked in the Technology group advising large-cap tech companies on M&A, IPOs, and leveraged finance transactions.

Previously, he was the Founder and CEO of TB Global Impact Strategies, a consulting firm that partnered with corporations, institutions, and nonprofits to build impactful CSR and social innovation programs. He also served as an Advisor for emerging businesses through 1863 Ventures, a leading venture accelerator.

He co-founded GOODProjects and GOODPartners, nationally recognized impact organizations based in Washington, D.C. As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, he led initiatives that directly supported over 3,000 families and delivered system-level reforms in youth justice, employment, and education through strategic partnerships with leading brands and public agencies.

He also held a role in investor relations and strategy at Brevan Howard Asset Management, where he contributed to fundraising initiatives and supported the launch of digital asset and co-investment platforms.

Troye holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, with additional studies at the Stockholm School of Economics with a focus on Private Equity and M&A, and a BA from Georgetown University, where he was a Division I student-athlete, playing football. He also currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.
